Johanna Potter studied Fine Art at Liverpool John Moores , specialising in sculpture.
Johanna works in both Mosaic and Paint, taking inspiration from the world around her; the work is both abstract and representational.
Painting has an immediate quality and mosaic combines the form and texture of sculpture with the brilliant colours of paint.
Assembling the mosaic is itself a meditative process whilst the abstract and representational aspects of the creative process for me mirror the truths of our spiritual and earthly existence.
